We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable applicants for the position of Casual Canteen Assistant to support the daily operation of our school canteen.
About the Role
Working on a casual, as-needed basis, the Casual Canteen Assistant will:
- Assist with food preparation and food handling聽
- Provide friendly customer service to students, staff, and visitors聽
- Operate point of sale and assist with cash handling聽
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene聽
- Support the efficient day-to-day running of the canteen during busy service periods聽
About You
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment聽
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions聽
- A reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work聽

Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:
- Working With Children Check (Victoria)聽
- National Police Record Check聽
- Food Handlers Certificate聽
- Level 2 First Aid (including asthma and anaphylaxis)聽
