We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic and flexible teachers to form part of our casual relief team for 2026. The successful applicants must demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children.
Role Description
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is a collaborative, vibrant and dynamic Catholic school. In 2026 we are in our sixth year of operation and warmly welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as graduates to join our growing community.Ìý
We adopt a flexible approach to engaging CRTs, accommodating those who require advance notice, as well as those who are available for same-day or short-notice bookings.

Key Selection Criteria:
Please briefly describe your experience and/or understanding of the following areas:
- A commitment to the ethos of the Catholic school
- Successful approaches to student wellbeing in the classroom and school community
- Knowledge and implementation of the current Child Safety Standards
- Contributing to a collaborative and positive school cultureÌý
- Delivering high quality learning and teaching to a range of educational abilities, using evidence-based strategies.
Applicants will:
- Be appropriately qualified and hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration (or working towards registration)
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation is advantageous

- A Curriculum Vitae that includes 3 nominated referees, one of which must be the current Principal of your workplace/s (or most recent Principal you have worked for)
