Mount Lilydale Mercy College is seeking a passionate and qualified Educational Psychologist to join our dedicated Wellbeing Team as soon as possible in full time or part time role.

Founded in 1896, Mount Lilydale Mercy College is a Catholic co-educational Years 7–12 College located in Melbourne’s outer eastern suburbs. We cater for over 1,500 students within a vibrant and inclusive community, guided by Gospel values and the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy.

The Role

As part of our Wellbeing Team, you will provide vital psychological support and expertise to students and their families, helping foster a safe, healthy and flourishing school environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Counselling students, parents/guardians and families facing personal, relational, social, educational or professional challenges.
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic casework, referral and follow-up.
  • Conducting psychological, behavioural and intelligence testing.
  • Analysing wellbeing trends and contributing to whole-college initiatives.
  • Delivering staff and community development programs to enhance wellbeing.
  • Liaising with government, community and church-based welfare, health, youth and education services.

 About You

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • High-level counselling skills, particularly with young people.
  • Experience working in school settings (highly desirable).
  • Current AHPRA registration and APS membership.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in administering psychological, behavioural and intelligence testing.
  • The ability to work collaboratively
