Role Description/Criteria

The school is seeking a part time Physical Education Teacher for Tuesday and Wednesday and be able to lead a team in planning and implementing whole school sporting events. 

Applications are invited from suitably experienced persons for the part time (0.3) FTE fixed-term employment position of Physical Education Specialist Teacher for 2026. This is a teaching position under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education and to the care, safety and wellbeing of children.

The successful applicant must hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.

Selection Criteria

Written applications should address the following selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to create a vibrant and inclusive Physical Education learning environment in which all students are engaged, motivated, and challenged.
  • Sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0, with the ability to deliver appropriate and differentiated programs that cater to a range of educational abilities within each class.
  • Proven experience in analysing a variety of student data to identify individual learning needs and plan targeted, differentiated Physical Education programs.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a demonstrated willingness to prepare and support students for sporting events and activities.
  • Commitment to working professionally, collaboratively, and enthusiastically with colleagues, students, and parents to build and maintain positive relationships within the school community.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with external agencies to develop and strengthen community partnerships.
