Role Description/Criteria

Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School is a faith-filled community where every child is known, supported and challenged to flourish. We are seeking a Finance and Administration Officer to join our team. This role is central to the daily operations of the school and supports the Principal, Finance Business Partner, Administration Team and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Shared Services in delivering high-quality financial and administrative processes.

About the Role

This position would suit someone who is organised, attentive to detail and confident working with people. The role includes:

  • processing invoices, purchase orders and financial documentation
  • supporting payroll preparation
  • completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • receipting and banking school income
  • assisting families with fee enquiries and payment arrangements
  • providing administrative and reception support
  • supporting enrolments, compliance requirements and school operations

Knowledge of ICON is helpful, although not essential, and training will be provided.

This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:15pm — negotiable).
The role is classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022, Education Support Category B, Level 2-8 to Level 3-6, depending on experience and qualifications.
