Role Description/Criteria

Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý ÌýAs the Numeracy Leader, you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of high-quality Mathematics programs across the school.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to improve student outcomes in Numeracy through effective data analysis and evidence-based strategies.
  • Support and coach teachers in the use of best-practice pedagogies in Mathematics.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement in Numeracy.
  • Foster a learning environment that reflects the Catholic ethos and supports the vision of St Dominic’s.

    The Successful Applicant Will Have:

  • Current registration with the relevant teaching authority VIT.
  • Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to numeracy improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum and contemporary educational research.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to working in partnership with staff, students, and families in a faith-filled learning environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to our Child Safe policies and procedures.
