Role Description/Criteria
St Columba's College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls' school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.
St Columba鈥檚 College is seeking a suitably experienced Instrumental Music Specialist 鈥� Clarinet to deliver high-quality instrumental tuition and contribute to the life of the College鈥檚 music program. This is a casual position working Mondays and Tuesdays due to the Year 7 Instrumental Music Program.
You will:
- Deliver individual clarinet lessons to students
- Prepare students for AMEB and VCE examinations
- Support College music events, including Graduation, College Masses and Assemblies
- Contribute to ensemble programs as required
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Experience teaching clarinet across a range of year levels
- Demonstrated ability to prepare students for AMEB and VCE performance examinations
- Knowledge of a range of musical techniques and genres
- Experience in VCE instruction and/or ensemble direction (desirable)
- Commitment to girls鈥� education and student development
