Role Description/Criteria
The role is inclusive of assisting student learning in the Italian language :
- under the general supervision of teaching staff, provide students with rich and rewarding Italian language experiences
- undertake learning support activities involving specialist cultural understanding and skills
- assisting students with classroom activities using the Italian language
- supporting teachers to develop their knowledge of the Italian language
- acting as a cultural support person or mentor
- assisting in the delivery of a culturally inclusive curriculum
- participate in the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of student learning in the Italian language
- cater for the individual needs of students in a supportive, learning environment
- have the ability to work and plan collaborativelyÌý
- contribute to the ongoing professional learning of the school community
