Role Description/Criteria

Mother Teresa Primary School is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Officer to join our vibrant school community. The successful candidate will oversee the front office on their scheduled days, playing a key role in the smooth day to day operations of the school. This position provides vital administrative support to the Principal and staff while ensuring our front office remains welcoming, efficient, and professional.

This job is advertised as a 12 month contract position, however there is a possibility of an extension, this will be discussed during the interview process.Ìý

About the Role

The Administration Officer is the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, playing a crucial role in communication and school operations.Ìý

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing reception duties, phone calls, and correspondence.
  • Providing administrative support, including student records management and processing purchase orders.
  • Assisting with financial tasks such as receipting and banking.
  • Supporting enrolment processes and promotional activities.
  • Upholding Child Safe Standards and ensuring compliance with policies
  • Be competent with Emergency Management processes
  • Administering first aid and maintaining office supplies.

Position Details

  • Part-Time role: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Experience with platforms such as Canva, nForma, Synergetic, ICON and/or eSIS would be beneficial.
