Role Description/Criteria
St Columba’s College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls’ school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity.

The Daily Organiser and Office Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the College while providing leadership to the front office team.
We are seeking a highly organised, calm, and proactive Daily Organiser and Office Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong people leadership and problem-solving skills.
This is an ongoing full time position working 7:00am to 4:06pm during school terms (38 hours per week plus 5 hours time in lieu with 4 hours taken on Friday afternoons and the remaining hour taken during school holidays).
As the Daily Organiser and Office Manager, you will:
- Coordinate daily staffing, including staff absences, and class coverage
- Act as the central point of contact for daily operational matters
- Lead, support, and manage the performance and development of office staff
- Ensure efficient front office operations and high-quality service to students, families, and staff
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff, leadership, and external providers
- Maintain accurate records, systems, and processes related to daily organisation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative systems and workflows
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience in office management, daily organisation, or a similar coordination role
- Proven ability to lead, support, and performance-manage staff
- Exceptional organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a busy school environment
