Role Description/Criteria

- an understanding of learning and teaching in an EAL community
- confident implementation of contemporary pedagogy to plan and teach with high expectations
- planning that challenges students to reflect, set personal goals and apply their learning
- the capacity to identify and respond to student needs through personalised learning tasks
- positive strategies which cater for students’ well-being needs
- a commitment to ongoing professional improvement and life-long learning
- excellent classroom management skills
- the ability to work collaboratively within teams
- excellent communication and organisational skills

Requirements:
- VIT registration
- suitable teaching qualifications
- experience working with EAL learners is an advantage
- contact details of three referees including your current/most recent Principal.
