Role Description/Criteria

St Martin of Tours Primary School in Rosanna requires a leader with a passion in the area of Learning Diversity. There are seven members on the Leadership Team, including the Learning Diversity Leader. We have three classes at each level across the school. 

St Martin's prides itself on ensuring each child is supported and challenged in their learning. Our community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. 

The successful applicant will need to: 

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of a Catholic school 
  • Be aware of the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ 2030 Vision and 'Vision for Learning' framework
  • Have knowledge of Explicit Instruction and of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 
  • Have a deep understanding of assessment tools and analysis of these
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Leadership Team
  • Lead staff in supporting and extending their students
  • Lead staff in writing PLPs with SMART goals, and in keeping required documentation records for NCCD
  • Foster and develop professional relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Work collaboratively with ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ staff and external allied health professionals, as required 
  • Be open to feedback and view themselves as a lifelong learner 

Special requirements: 

  • Hold a current VIT Registration 
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or willing to gain Accreditation)
