Role Description/Criteria
The Student Engagement and Wellbeing Leader is a faith-filled and compassionate educator who will lead the development of a whole-school approach to student engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and behaviour.
This role is for a person who wants to make a real difference - someone who sees every child as capable and worthy of success. Working in partnership with staff, students, and families, the Student Engagement and Wellbeing Leader will ensure that every learner feels a deep sense of belonging and is supported to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
The role includes leadership within a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework, integrating learning, behaviour, health, and wellbeing supports. This leader will help design, implement, and monitor evidence-informed practices that promote positive behaviour, prevent disengagement, and foster resilience and inclusion. A teaching component and leadership in learning diversity are integral parts of the position.
This work reflects the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Vision for Engagement - empowering learners to connect with others, act with purpose, and find meaning in their learning — and the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Vision for Instruction, ensuring that every child experiences high-quality, evidence-based teaching that meets their needs.
Although this is an out of classroom role - there will be a teaching component.Ìý
