History:
Founded by the Carmelites in 1961, Whitefriars College has partnered with families for more than six decades to educate boys in the Catholic Carmelite tradition.
Guided by the Carmelite values of contemplation, community and service, the College seeks to nurture thoughtful, compassionate and capable young men who are equipped to contribute positively to the world around them. Whitefriars recognises that boys thrive when they feel connected, understood and challenged within a learning environment designed specifically for the way boys grow and learn.
At Whitefriars, students are encouraged to reflect deeply, build authentic relationships and develop a strong sense of who they are and what they stand for. The College places great importance on ensuring each boy is known personally, supported individually and encouraged to find where he belongs.
Set within a peaceful bushland environment in Donvale, Whitefriars provides a connected and supportive community where boys can grow in confidence, resilience and integrity throughout their educational journey.
