Melbourne ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Catholic Schools’ capital investments April and May 2026

Infrastructure upgrades and capital investments are a strong aspect of Melbourne ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Catholic Schools (ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ) schools’ contribution to the growing appetite for quality Catholic education throughout Melbourne.
Between 23 April and 27 May 2026, ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Early Years Education (ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµEYE) will officially open infrastructure upgrade projects across 11 schools.
Strong schools build strong communities. And collectively, we’re improving our spaces of belonging and shared purpose, where students, educators and families can come together to shape a better future. By adapting to shifting community needs, we are ensuring that high-quality ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ education remains accessible where it is needed most.
– new building opening
Stage 2: Construction of six general learning areas, library, multipurpose space, landscaping and three portable classrooms.
This project was made possible by:
$5 million from the Victorian Government and $4 million from Catholic Development Fund.

Minister for Education, the Hon Ben Carroll; State Member for Greenvale, Iwan Walters; and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Executive Director, Dr Edward Simons.
– sod turning
Stage 5: Construction of eight general learning areas, learning resource centre, information technology centre, careers and pathways centre, canteen, student wellbeing and counselling centre, amenities, campus administration centre and associated spaces.
This project was made possible by:
$6 million from the Victorian Government and $13,444,000 from Catholic Development Fund.

– ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Early Years Education Children’s Hub opening
ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµEYE Children’s Hub.

– building refurbishment
Refurbishment of the Callahan building to expand front-of-house operation and leadership offices, and upgrade spaces for student services, pastoral offices, counsellor offices and first aid facilities.
This project was made possible by a local contribution of almost $6 million.
– sod turning
Stage 2: Demolition of existing building to be replaced by a learning facility with associated spaces. Siteworks include the construction of a new outdoor learning area.
This project was made possible by:
$3 million from the Victorian Government, $2 million from the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ supplementary Capital Funding program, and a local contribution of $380,000.

Stage 1: Secondary school campus including general learning areas, specialist learning areas, administration space and associated spaces.
