Role Description/Criteria
Vocational Education and Training (VET) Food Support Assistant
Aquinas College is looking to appoint a dynamic, suitably experienced applicant to the position of VET Food Support Assistant. This opportunity is to commence immediately and can be on either a casual or fixed term basis until the end of term 2 (July), working 5 days a week.
The preferred candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students and able to support the delivery of curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles.
The successful applicant:
- Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
- Will have experience working in Hospitality.
- Will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Will have the ability to work successfully within a team
- Will be able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
- Will have valid Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Will have relevant permissions to work in Australia
- Will hold a current Food Handler鈥檚 Certificate.
- Will hold a current driver鈥檚 licence.
- Will preferably hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
The successful applicant will be appointed as an Education Support Employee - Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement CEMEA 2022.
