Role Description/Criteria

Whitefriars College is a Catholic boys school in the Carmelite tradition. We are seeking to appoint a Director - Learning Diversity to lead inclusive learning practices across the College, commencing Term 1 2026.

The Director – Learning Diversity holds a key leadership role within the College and is expected to lead in the spirit of Christian service, supporting the implementation of the College’s vision, grounded in its Catholic identity and Carmelite tradition.

Reporting to the Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching, the Director will bring a strong knowledge base, exemplary interpersonal skills, and the capacity to inspire and lead colleagues. The role is responsible for ensuring the provision of appropriate learning programs and support for all students, including those with disabilities, specific learning needs, and those who are highly able or gifted.

An outward-looking perspective is essential for this role, with a strong understanding of contemporary pedagogy, including the integration of learning technologies.

This is a full-time, ongoing, POL 6 appointment, commencing Term 1, 2026.
